As TikTok faces a ban in the US, users are already trying to find a replacement.

Downloads of the apps RedNote and Lemon8 have soared as the ban comes closer. Ironically, both of them are under Chinese ownership, which was what sparked concern about TikTok in the first place.

But what are they and where might you find them?

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, but Tyson Fury has announced his retirement from boxing.

The former WBC and IBO heavyweight champion took to Instagram this afternoon to share the message with his 6m+ followers. It is an announcement that comes less than a month since Fury suffered only his second career loss, to Oleksandr Usyk, in Saudi Arabia.

TikTok has denied rumours that Elon Musk was considering buying the short form video app.

Currently, the app faces the possibility of a ban if Chinese owners ByteDance do not sell it. The deadline for them to do so is January 19.

President Joe Biden made moves to ban the app last year over its Chinese ownership allegedly presenting national security concerns. The US government has argued that China could use TikTok for spying and political manipulation.

Quinyon Mitchell may be riding high after helping the Philadelphia Eagles secure a place in the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs, but let’s hope any aspirations of a WWE run are not on the horizon for the cornerback.

With just two minutes remaining of Philadelphia’s 22-10 NFC Wild Card roundvictory over Green Bay, Packers quarterback Jordan Love seeked out wide receiver Bo Melton in a late effort to reduce the deficit. However, Love’s attempt to find the end zone was undercut by rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell who, not content with making a game saving interception – his first in the NFL – then decided to channel his inner WWE Hall of Famer.
